Sales Leader - Animal Health

We are seeking a Strategic
**Sales Leader**
who thrives developing multi-national teams and inspires success, to join a well-established specialised manufacturer of veterinary pharmaceuticals operating an international commercial footprint across direct CCE markets and global distribution networks. The business focuses on high-demand therapeutic areas, serving livestock, companion animals, and equine sectors.

**Salary:**
€90,000 - €120,000 + Bonus

Austria

English and German

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Commercial Leadership: Lead, manage and develop the sales and business support functions across both direct sales territories and international distribution channels.
- Market Expansion: Shape go-to-market strategies across core European regions while optimising global partner networks to unlock hidden commercial potential.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the strategic commercial link to Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Marketing to align demand planning and coordinate global product launches.
- Performance & P&L: Drive data-driven outbound sales initiatives, monitor margin profitability, and take revenue accountability across assigned territories.
- Coordinate product launches together with supply chain and marketing.

**The Successful Candidate**

- Experience: Commercial sales leadership, ideally within Animal Health, Life Sciences, or Human Pharmaceuticals.
- Leadership Track Record: Entrepreneurial mindset with proven ability to coach sales teams, manage third-party distribution partners, and hit revenue targets.
- Language & Mobility: Business fluency in both German and English is mandatory. Willingness to undertake international business travel (20–30%).
- Education: Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Sciences, Business/Economics, or a related field is advantageous.
