Volunteer Grant Manager
Organization: Stitching Empowerment Verein zur Förderung des Frauenempowerments und der Gemeinschaftsbildung durch Handarbeit (SEVA)
Location: Vienna based with remote option
Commitment: Volunteer based role, 5-10 hours a week
SEVA is a Vienna-based nonprofit using craftivism and textile arts to build community and empowerment among women and girls. We're growing our grants function and looking for a Grants Manager to lead our small grant writing team and keep our funding pipeline organized and on track.
**What you'll do**
- Manage and support a team of grant writers: regular check-ins, progress updates, and unblocking where needed
- Maintain and improve our grant tracker: deadlines, statuses, submitted/pending/awarded opportunities
- Research and flag new grant opportunities aligned with SEVA's mission
- Review and finalize grant applications drafted by the writing team before submission
- Coordinate with SEVA's leadership on funding priorities and budget alignment
**What we're looking for**
- Experience in grant writing, ideally with nonprofits or mission-driven organizations
- Experience managing people or coordinating a team, even informally
- Strong organizational skills and comfort with tracking tools
- Independent, reliable, and communicative: this is a remote/flexible volunteer role
- Interest in women's empowerment, craftivism, or community-based nonprofit work is a plus

- Based in or familiar with the Vienna nonprofit/funding landscape a plus, not required
