**Role Description**
The Freelance Mobile App Tester will be responsible for testing mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, localization accuracy, and overall user experience quality. This contract role is on-site in Austria and involves executing test cases, identifying and documenting bugs, validating fixes, and providing clear feedback to development and localization teams. The tester will perform compatibility checks across different devices and operating systems, review in-app content for linguistic and cultural suitability, and verify that localized versions meet Acclaro’s quality standards. The role also includes collaborating with project managers and engineers, reporting test results, and meeting agreed timelines for assigned testing tasks.

**Qualifications**

- Experience in mobile app testing, including functional, usability, and localization testing.
- Ability to create, execute, and document test cases and test scenarios clearly and accurately.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools and basic QA workflows (e.g., logging issues, regression testing).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking, with the ability to identify inconsistencies and edge cases.
- Comfort working on-site in Austria and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a structured project environment.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and common device configurations; prior testing or QA experience preferred.
- Availability to work on a contract basis with flexible hours depending on project needs; prior freelance or contract work experience is a plus.
