EMEA Accounting Manager

This role provides financial leadership, analysis, compliance oversight, reporting, and business partnering to help drive business performance and support our continued growth.

## About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accounting professional who enjoys working in an international environment, partnering with leaders across multiple countries, and influencing business decisions through sound financial management and commercial insight.

As EMEA Accounting Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the financial integrity of our EMEA entities while providing valuable financial insight and support to business leaders across the region. You'll play a key role in financial reporting, statutory compliance, forecasting, business partnering, and process improvement within a global finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead month-end accounting and financial reporting activities for all EMEA entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS.
- Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and management reporting to ensure accuracy and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide financial analysis, forecasting support, variance reporting, and business partnering to regional and global stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with VAT, statutory, regulatory, and local reporting requirements across the EMEA region.
- Manage intercompany accounting, transfer pricing adjustments, sales commission calculations, and coordination of external audits.
- Partner with outsourced providers and internal teams to support local GAAP reporting, budget management, process improvements, and ad hoc finance projects.

## About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- At least 5 years' experience in an international accounting environment.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, compliance, reconciliations, and statutory accounting.
- Experience working with ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4HANA, SAP R/3, or Fiori.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and broader MS Office skills.
- Fluent English and German language skills; French would be advantageous but is not essential.
- The ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple countries and time zones.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to partner with leaders across the business.
