**How You'll Make Your Mark**
Your main tasks in this role are:
- Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of risk management frameworks, policies, and methodologies
- Advise senior management on emerging C&N -related risks, opportunities, and strategic implications
- Develop and maintain methodologies to assess physical, transition, liability, and nature-related risks
- Quantify C&N risk impacts on portfolios, assets, operations, and business strategies
- Evaluate C&N -related vulnerabilities across ALDIs value chain
- Ensure alignment with relevant regulatory frameworks across our markets as well as relevant global standards, e.g. California climate disclosure, CSRD, CSDDD
- Drive continuous improvement of risk methodologies and analytical capabilities
- Evaluate emerging C&N datasets, modelling approaches, and technological solutions
**Your Profile**
The requirements of the role include:
- You have a professional background in climate risk management and sustainability
- In-depth knowledge of physical and transition risks, combined with a solid understanding of financial risk frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex climate data into actionable insights for decision-making
- Proven capability to integrate climate considerations into enterprise risk management and strategic planning processes
- Effective stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across functions and influencing senior leadership
- Proactive, structured working style and a good understanding of evolving sustainability standards and frameworks
- You are fluent in Business English

**Remuneration**
Gross annual salary starting from € 62.500\*
- willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
