The candidate for this position will be responsible for bonding / adhesives technologies and the process development in this field. The candidate should have relevant industry experience and also a technical background.

**Responsibilities**

- responsible for bonding technology of battery systems as an adhesive technologist specialising in sealants, structural adhesives and crash and structural foams
- responsibility for bonding technology to ensure feasibility and required product quality in the enquiry, planning and construction phase
- further development of defined joining and bonding processes in the field of adhesive technology
- cooperation with equipment and material suppliers, research and test institutes
- systematic documentation of development results, creation of process approval documents, work instructions and control plans
- management of employees as part of an interdisciplinary team
- creation of and collaboration on specifications, D-FMEAs and P-FMEAs

**Qualifications**

- completed technical education (preferably studies in in chemistry, process engineering, materials science or with a focus on production engineering)
- experience with joining technologies/process development in an industrial environment
- interdisciplinary understanding (materials technology, mechanics, manufacturing processes) and quality awareness
- team player, analytical thinking and quick comprehension skills
- systematic, independent and process-orientated way of working
- very good english skills
