The Ok Tedi Development Foundation (OTDF) is inviting applications for its 2027 Maritime Cadet Scholarship Program, delivered in partnership with PNG Maritime College and P&O Services (PNG) Ltd.

**Scholarship Opportunities**
For the 2027 intake, OTDF is offering four (4) scholarship positions:

**Eligibility**
**Applicants Must Be From**
Community Mine Continuation Agreement (CMCA) regions;
- Preferred Area Development (PAD) areas; or
- Non-CMCA/Non-PAD areas within Western Province.
**Engine Cadet Requirements**
Applicants must:
Military
- Have successfully completed Grade 12 or the FODE/DODL program between 2019 and 2025.
- Hold a Certificate or Diploma qualification.
- Have achieved Grade C or higher in English, Mathematics A, Chemistry and Physics, with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
**Be medically fit.**
- Possess a current Police Clearance Certificate and demonstrate good community behaviour.

Study Grants & Scholarships
- Have successfully completed Grade 12 or the FODE/DODL program between 2019 and 2025.
- Hold a Certificate or Diploma qualification.
- Have achieved Grade C or higher in English, Mathematics A/B, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography and History, with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Be medically fit.
- Possess a current Police Clearance Certificate and demonstrate good community behaviour.

- Educational qualifications
- Current certified medical report from a recognised hospital
- Current Police Clearance Certificate
- Birth Certificate and National Identification (NID) card
- Three (3) character references
- Completed and signed OTDF Maritime Scholarship Application Form
Teaching & Classroom Resources
Important Notes
- Applicants with only a Grade 10 qualification are not eligible.
- Only new students entering the maritime field will be considered.
- Female applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
