**What you'll do**
- Own Bitget EU technology strategy, roadmap, and system availability
- Ensure all technology systems and infrastructure are compliant with applicable EU regulations and operated independently
- Manage EU development and release cycle
- Act as quality gate for all technology deployments to the EU environment
- Manage IT and tech outsourcing relationships
- Ensure operational independence and business continuity of EU technology
- Build and manage the EU technology team
- Report to Management Board on technology performance and risks
**What you'll need**
- 8+ years technology leadership in regulated financial services, fintech, or crypto
- Understanding of MiCAR, DORA
- Experience with digital asset custody/wallet infrastructure
- Experience managing outsourcing within a global group structure
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and data residency requirements
- Experience with regulatory audits and inspections
- Fluent English; Chinese or German is a plus
