**Financial Controller**
to join their team in
**Houghton, Michigan**
or the surrounding area.

****WHAT WE OFFER.****

- $70,000 – $105,000 annual starting salary based on your experience.
- Discretionary bonus based on personal contributions and company results.
- Health insurance including dental and vision coverage; family plans available.
- 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
- Paid time off.
- Monday-Friday in-office position with flexible schedule.
- Relocation assistance, if needed.

****WHAT YOU WILL DO.****

- Lead and mentor a small team (2-4 staff members).
- Oversee accounts receivable, billing, collections & vendor payments.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure financial accuracy.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements.
- Work with leadership to track project costs, financial performance, and budgetary items.
- Review, procure and manage business & health insurance programs.
- Assist with employee benefits & retirement plan administration.

****WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.****

- Strong leadership & communication skills.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial reporting & accounting functions required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance, or a related field preferred; Master’s degree a bonus.
- Accounting experience in the construction industry a bonus.
- Knowledge of business insurance, 401(k), and employee benefits.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities with a positive attitude.
- A detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset is essential.
